This vintage travel poster of Zermatt, Switzerland shows the funicular train climbing in front of the truly massive Matterhorn peak. Zermatt is a mountain resort lying below the iconic Matterhorn in the Southern Swiss Alps. The resort is famous for its skiing, climbing and hiking. It is also renowned for the funicular railway journey to reach the town which sits in the Valais canton at an elevation of 1600m.
